Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the photography studio or photographer operating an account) and Lumeneer ("Lumeneer", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them. If you use the platform on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

1. The service

Lumeneer is a photo distribution platform for school and event photographers. It provides job and roster management, shoot-day capture tools, automated photo-to-subject matching, secure client galleries, a studio storefront, and built-in checkout with payouts through Stripe.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter contracts. One account represents one studio; you may invite team members under roles the platform provides.

3. Subscription, trial and billing

• Plans are billed monthly ($99/month) or annually ($1,000/year). Prices are stated before any applicable taxes.
• New studios receive a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial; nothing is charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel during the trial at no cost.
• Founding-member pricing (50% off the first year and a 1.5% commission rate) applies while the offer is available and remains at that commission rate for as long as the subscription stays active.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period runs to its end.

4. Commission and payouts

Client purchases are processed through Stripe. We deduct a platform commission of 2% (or 1.5% for founding members) per sale; card processing fees are passed through at cost with no markup. Payouts go directly to your connected Stripe account. You are responsible for your own tax obligations on your sales.

5. Storage and fair use

• Every plan includes 2 TB of photo storage, retained for 5 years. Additional storage is available at $12/month (or $120/year) per extra TB.
• Uploads are photo files only, up to 5 MB per file.
• Originals move to cold storage 90 days after a job closes. They are never deleted within the retention period and restore automatically when needed.

6. Your content and responsibilities

You keep full ownership of the photographs you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, resize and deliver them through the platform. You are responsible for having the rights and consents your work requires, including model releases and, for school work, the consents required to photograph minors and to share rosters with us. You must not upload unlawful content or use the platform to infringe anyone's rights.

7. Face matching

The platform uses automated face detection to quality-check gallery assignments. It is an internal accuracy tool, applied to the photos you upload for the jobs you run; we do not use it to build biometric profiles or sell biometric data. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Support is provided by email at hello@lumeneer.io.

9. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your billing settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonable. After termination we retain gallery data for a wind-down period so you can export your work, then delete it in line with the Privacy Policy.

10. Liability

The platform is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows. Our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes are notified by email or in-product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
